Hiro was born on January 25, 1994, the youngest son of Japanese singers Masako Mori and Shinichi Mori. He has two elder brothers, the eldest of whom is Takahiro Moriuchi, the lead singer of the band One Ok Rock and Tomohiro Moriuchi who works on TV Tokyo.[4] In April 2005, his parents divorced when he was 11. Following the divorce, he and his older brother, Tomohiro, resided with their father; their mother took custody of their oldest brother, Takahiro.
2002โ2005: Career beginnings and other musical pursuits
Hiro signed with Johnny's Entertainment on December 1, 2002, when he was 8 years old. He was the youngest Johnny's Jr. and remained active until 2005.
2011โpresent: MY FIRST STORY
He is currently active as the lead vocalist of the Japanese rock band, My First Story, which was formed in Shibuya in 2011. He released his solo debut album Sing;est on January 20, 2021, through Universal Music Japan. It contains ten covers of songs originally performed by exclusively female vocalists.

MY FIRST STORY (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese rock band from Shibuya, Tokyo. Formed in 2011, the band currently consists of vocalist Hiroki Moriuchi, guitarist Teruki Nishizawa, bassist Nobuaki Katล, and drummer Shลhei Sasaki.[7] Their debut album My First Story (2012) caught people's attention and put them in lineups of major music festivals. Their fourth studio album Antithese (2016) ranked 4th on Oricon chart,[8] and directed their first Nippon Budokan live show, gathering 12,000.

The band's single "Mukoku", originally scheduled for release on July 31, 2019, was pushed back to August 14 in order to remove the track "Underdog" which featured a collaboration with Rize and The Bonez vocalist Jesse who had been arrested for marijuana possession.
The band's single, 1,000,000 Times, was released on July 1 in Japan featuring chelly from Egoist and including a track called Minor.
2022โpresent: The Crown
November 12, 2023, MY FIRST STORY and One Ok Rock performed together at Tokyo Dome for the first time. The concert was called VS and it was almost immediately sold out. This concert united both the bands and the fans, bringing everyone together in unity.
May 8th, 2024 MY FIRST STORY released their newest album, The Crown. This album includes eleven original songs, including one made for an Arknights promo. Two additional songs were added at the end of the album which included Home live at VS concert and a remix of I'm a Mess.
May 13, 2024 MY FIRST STORY collabed with HYDE for the opening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 4 opening called, "Mugen".
May 17, 2024 [Sakiyomi Digital] The new opening theme song for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", "Mugen" by MY FIRST STORY x HYDE, is leading the download song charts
May 20, 2024 The ending theme song for the Pillar Training Arc of the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", HYDE x MY FIRST STORY's "Eternal -Tokoshie-" was released.
